The Hug Fund is a partnership of employees helping employees, giving and responding to the needs of HCR ManorCare employees nationwide.
Established in 2005, the Hug Fund is a non-profit, tax-exempt, charitable fund operated by the employees of HCR ManorCare.
The mission of the Hug Fund is to provide financial assistance to eligible employees of HCR ManorCare and its affiliated businesses for an unexpected catastrophic event such as a natural or civil disaster or severe economic hardship due to illness, death, accident or other event beyond their control. It is to help employees who have exhausted other resources and have little means to financially meet their urgent need.
The Hug Fund annual campaign takes place in June of each year. However, the Hug Fund welcomes donations at any time.
Our Haitian Support Efforts
The January 12th earthquake in Haiti is a tragedy that has resulted in the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives. This natural disaster has been devastating, and hundreds of our employees have been affected personally by the suffering experienced by family members and friends in Haiti. You can provide support by making a contribution to the Hug Fund in the following ways:

Donation with a check or money order (print and mail form)
Payroll deduction donation (HCR ManorCare employees only)
